Cage for flow control choke valves. Valves are necessary for flow control applications to regulate the pressure and prevent fluctuation. Especially in the Oil & Gas business, the valves are submitted to abrasive particles which is why the material of choice is tungsten carbide. Today a lot of these valves are manufactured as carbide assemblies which are restrictive in terms of design possibilities.
