Trial cages for spinal surgery

Trial cages are used by surgeons to determine the final cage size, which will be implanted. For an easy identification a color-coding is used. The material for this use-case was a modified PPSU (filled with barium-sulfate). The filler leads to a visibility in X-ray technology, which is used to visualize the fitting of the trial implant.
