Inlet Guide Vane – ATL2

The Inlet Guide Vane is placed at the entry of a water separator, and forces the air coming in to rotate when passing through. By rotating, moisture contained into the air is pushed away leading to dry air at the exit of the Water Separator. This dry air is used to cool down components. The part is manufactured via LB-PBF with a stainless steel alloy and supplied by LISI AEROSPACE. AM is used because the complex part is difficult to manufacture with traditional processes.
