3D Systems Announces Sale of On Demand Manufacturing Business (June 01, 2021)

3D Systems signed an agreement to sell its On Demand Manufacturing business to Trilantic North America, a private equity firm, for a purchase price of USD 82 million. The sale includes the several of the company’s On Demand Manufacturing experts and facilities in USA, France, Italy and England.

Brinter received EUR 1.2 Million worth of investment to accelerate the development operational capabilities and international scaling (June 10, 2021)

The Finland-based 3D bioprinting start-up has revealed the investment of the VC Firm Innovestor which will be used to expand into new markets in the U.S. and European medical markets with ist modular 3D bioprinter.

Agile Space industries acquires Tronix3D to enhance performance and development (June 17, 2021)

The aim with the acquisition of the long-term supplier Tronix3D is to optimize the performance of the propulsion systems for companys like NASA or SpaceX and simultaneously to ramp up the R&D of new 3D printed metal alloys.

Seurat Technologies

Seurat Technologies closes USD 41 Million fundraise led by Capricorn’s Technology Impact Fund (June 23, 2021)

The fundraise will be used for the acceleration of development and commercialization of the US-based manufacturers technologie – Area Printing. Seurat previously raised USD 13.5 million in Series A financing led by True Ventures in January 2018.
